Stan announces exciting new Original series The Hack starring David Tennant, Robert Carlyle and Toby Jones
Streaming service Stan has announced its new Original series The Hack. The show, co-commissioned with ITV, is a seven-part drama which tells the story of the phone hacking scandal that led to the closure of the UK's best-selling newspaper. The series 'interweaves two real life stories' as investigative journalist Nick Davies, played by David Tennant, uncovers the scandal at the News of the World. It also follows former Met Police Detective Chief Superintendent Dave Cook, played by Robert Carlyle, who is investigating an unsolved murder.
